The deadline to secure the best rate for the 2020 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) is fast approaching, as the last day to register and receive the early bird rate is October 12.

Full registration costs for the virtual conference is currently $199, with additional logins $49 each for add-on registration for additional park employees, but the rates will go up to $299 ($59 for add-ons) on October 13.

The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) pivoted quickly after making the difficult decision to switch to a virtual event, providing several incentives to make this OHCE the most accessible everARVC is partnering with a state-of-the-art platform to host the virtual event and lowered registration costs, providing excellent value while providing the best education, networking and entertainment that make OHCE the industry’s premier event.

“The combined advantages of virtual access and a reduced cost really makes this conference accessible to all,” says Paula Horwitz, ARVC’s executive director of education and events. “Don’t let that lower price point fool you. The team has pulled out all the stops to create an experience that will benefit all that attend. Be sure to take advantage of the savings before registration costs increase on October 12.”

There are also ways to attend the conference for free. ARVC’s Hosted Buyer Program, a first of its kind in the industry, provides the opportunity for decision makers to attend for free if they apply to be part of the program. There’s no purchase necessary.

ARVC’s Hosted Buyer Program is a great way for our members to save money and time during OHCE,” says David Basler, vice president of ARVC. “It wouldn’t be an OHCE without the opportunity to learn about the newest products and services our industry has to offer at our virtual Expo. All you’ll need to do to be in the Hosted Buyer Program is apply and attend a few virtual meetings with exhibitors that match your needs. Your registration fee will then be refunded for doing what you would do anyway—researching and purchasing for the best products and services for your park.

To improve the accessibility to OHCE, all education sessions, networking events and entertainment can be viewed via any internet capable device, and all sessions will be available live and recorded for viewing in the ARVC portaat your leisure following the event.

Be sure to join the live session to engage, ask questions, and hear, first-hand, from our expert line-up of speakers,” says Horwitz. “But if something happens to pull you away, or you have another commitment, you can watch the recorded session later at a time more convenient for you. This is an incredible value and at $199, you just can’t beat it.”

Attendees can also get Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) for each registered login, says Horwitz, and important aspect for those pursuing additional outdoor hospitality certifications and credentials.

ARVC is building off the educational innovations introduced last year and expanding to meet the virtual platform for OHCE2020. Continued conversations with members and attendees of past ehas guided the direction for this year’s education sessions, with ARVC continuing to focus on five educational tracks so attendees can focus on their preferred sessions depending on their career path and interests.

More than 75% of the 20-plus educational sessions this year will again be completely new, and sessions will be taught by a cast of new and familiar experts from inside and outside the outdoor hospitality industry. OHCE2020 education sessions feature topics ranging from marketing insights to insurance tips and legal issues to how COVID has and will continue to impact our industry. Learn more about this second slate of speakers and sessions, including session details, speaker biographies, schedule of events and learning tracks here: OHCE Sessions and Speaker Information

ARVC also recently announced it will be continuing its popular Takeaway Tours in the virtual format at OHCE2020. Hosted by longtime ARVC member and four-time ARVC Park of the Year Award winner Gary Quigley of Jellystone Park at Kozy Rest, attendees will enjoy tours of three parks followed by an interactive Q+A with the park owners.
