The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has announced RVshare, the first and largest peer-to-peer RV rental marketplace, has officially joined the ARVC Integrated Partnership Program as an Elite Partner. The partnership will help expand RVshare’s lead generation by exposing the brand to the more than 25 million American RVers and campers on the go who can visit GoCampingAmerica.com to find their next adventure.

As part of the agreement, RVshare will be the exclusive peer-to-peer RV rental option for campers visiting the GoCampingAmerica.com website. RVshare will also create educational blogs to educate campers visiting GoCampingAmerica.com about the benefits of RV rentals.

With the camping industry seeing such a boom of interest, especially from new campers, who say private RV parks and campgrounds are their #1 destination, it has led to a market shortage of RVs available for purchase, so it makes perfect sense for ARVC and RVshare to work together to bolster this exciting opportunity for anyone to rent an RV.

“RVshare has created an amazing way to remove one of the biggest hurdles facing most campers – how to actually find and afford an RV, especially in a time where the demand for RVs is higher than the amount that can be produced,” says ARVC President and CEO Paul Bambei. “Not everyone has access to an RV, but now not only can anyone find one, but it drives new business to our member parks too. It’s a win-win.”

RVshare has helped millions experience RV travel by simplifying the process to find and book an RV rental. More than 93% of owners on the platform have 5-star reviews and RVshare anticipates RV renters will travel more than 40 million miles this summer.

“With millions of campers visiting GoCampingAmerica.com, it only makes sense to partner with RVshare to offer those looking for another option to have the adventure of a lifetime in an RV, at a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new unit,” Bambei says.

RVshare has more than 100,000 vehicles available across North America ranging from affordable travel trailers to luxury motorhomes and can accommodate any outdoor adventure, whether it’s a weekend of camping or a cross-country tour. With thousands of satisfied customers, RVshare has the perfect RV for any vacation, tailgate, or temporary lodging needs.

“RVshare and Go Camping America share the goal of making the outdoors more accessible to millions of people. With the ongoing growth we are seeing, partnerships like this one will help move the camping and RV industry forward,” says RVshare VP of Marketing, Martijn Scheijbeler.

At the onset of COVID-19, all travel came to a halt until National Parks reopened. Then, RVshare saw a huge influx of bookings as people yearned to get outside and connect with nature, as the site doubled its seven-year booking total in a short 13 months last year. RVshare now predicts another summer of record-setting bookings, cementing RV travel as a category that is here to stay.
