For the first time in its 25-year history, the Eastern Campus of the National School of RV Park and Campground Management met in Myrtle Beach, S.C. On February 18, 38 RV park owners and operators from across the country hit the ground running for an intense week of outdoor hospitality education and comradery.
For the first time in its 25-year history, the Eastern Campus of the National School of RV Park and Campground Management met in Myrtle Beach, S.C. On February 18, 38 RV park owners and operators from across the country hit the ground running for an intense week of outdoor hospitality education and comradery.
The National School of RV Park and Campground Management is an intensive program designed to equip prospective and current owners and managers with the tools they need to improve or develop a thriving campground business. The program is offered in two, week-long sessions that students can enroll in at either of the school’s campuses—the Eastern campus and Western campus.
Five industry professionals completed their second week of the program in Myrtle Beach and graduated from the program.

The 38 learners who attended the School’s Eastern Campus received high praise from the school’s distinguished faculty for their enthusiasm and focus during classroom exercises and peer-to-peer networking activities.
Taking their experience one step further, students took advantage of the ARVC Foundation’s Fast Track Outdoor Hospitality Certificate Program—designed to provide learners with the knowledge required to be successful. Thirty individuals simultaneously earned their Management Certificate and five earned their Professional Certificate while completing their school coursework.
“This has been an awesome experience! It’s been very enlightening,” says Sandra Raynor of Lanier’s Campground in Surf City, N.C., “and I recommend to anyone who has not been to this school, just come and get it done because it will definitely help you to go back to your park, your business, and positively impact everything from customer service to net income.”
