Time is running out to register for the virtual 2020 Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) hosted by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds’ (ARVC). The deadline to register is October 28.
Those interested in getting the full OHCE2020 experience, including industry-leading education sessions, unique networking experiences, entertainment and ideas to improve their campground business need to sign up before the deadline.
The virtual conference, which will occur from Nov. 2-5, 2020 on ARVC’s state-of-the-art virtual platform, can be accessed from anywhere with any internet-capable device. OHCE, which last year set a modern-era attendance record, has built a loyal and invested following over the years by creating a world-class environment for education and networking. ARVC promises this virtual OHCE will utilize this technology to create a great user experience for attendees.
“You won’t want to miss out on this amazing event, so register now!” says Paula Horwitz, ARVC’s Executive Director of Education and Events. “We have taken everything that made attending OHCE in-person something everyone in the industry must attend and found a way to transfer it to the virtual world. To get the most out of the is event, you’ll want to make sure you are signed up by October 28 and ready to learn on November 2!”
Attendees will be able to interact in real time with speakers, peers, sponsors and exhibitors, and will also have access to watch recordings of all OHCE content after the event for the life of their ARVC membership. This allows attendees to literally be able to watch every single OHCE session, something that has never happened before, says Horwitz, but the value of be logged in to view the virtual event live is still important.
“All the information will be available to you after the conference, but you’ll still want to focus on your preferred sessions, events and the expo, so you get the full interactive experience. You can ask the speakers questions, break out for further discussion with your peers, interact with exhibitors and so much more,” says Horwitz.
“Plus, you’re paying the same price either way for all this OHCE2020 content live or via recording, so make sure you get the most value out of it by logging in and getting involved.”
ARVC has seen a surge in interest in OHCE2020 in the past two weeks and ARVC expects attendance to near last year’s record-setting OHCE2019 in Knoxville, Tenn. and top the 2018 event in Oklahoma City, Okla.
One of the driving factors for OHCE registration this year has been cost savings passed on to attendees. Registration for ARVC members is just $299 for a full conference registration (single login) and Add-On logins for attendees from the same park are just $59. This price includes everything offered at OHCE, including the virtual Takeaway Tours which were an add-on cost of $299 last year. More than 30 scholarships are also available to cover the cost of registration for Add-On logins and young professionals (apply for scholarships here).
OHCE was named a top 50 trade show in the country by Trade Show Executive in three categories in 2019, on the Fastest 50 list for Net Square Feet of Exhibit Space, Exhibiting Companies
“We can’t wait for all of our members to join us for another amazing OHCE, one that will look different than any OHCE ever, but is sure to offer the same great education, networking and entertainment!” Horwitz says. “We know it has been a tough year for some in our industry, so we’ve done everything we can to recreate the same great OHCE experience of previous in-person events while passing on as much savings as possible. Make sure you register now!”
The virtual OHCE2020 is Nov. 2-5, 2020 and registration is open through Oct. 28. ARVC members are offered significant discounts on registration. To register for OHCE2020 and to learn more about the conference visit arvc.org/ohce.
