The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has announced the launch of the ARVC Career Center, a first-in-the-industry online tool designed to help businesses find and recruit qualified employees and allow job seekers to view new opportunities in the outdoor hospitality industry.

The National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) has announced the launch of the ARVC Career Center, a first-in-the-industry online tool designed to help businesses find and recruit qualified employees and allow job seekers to view new opportunities in the outdoor hospitality industry.

The ARVC Career Center is now searchable by anyone looking to find and apply for jobs across the country. ARVC members can post unlimited jobs for free—making the Career Center a valuable member benefit.

ARVC’s 3,000 members can post job openings in a variety of categories, including guest services, food services, grounds crew/landscaping, recreation/activities, security, administration and more. Job seekers can then search by categorylocation and other criteria, to see what opportunities are available to get their career started or take their career to the next level.

Campgrounds can choose to post the position for 30 or 60 days and can also customize their postings with their logoproperty photos and qualifying questionsThe campground is automatically sent an email each time a job seeker applies for a position.

When we asked our members what they needed most in 2020, one of the answers we heard most often was ‘a way to find qualified employees’,” says David Basler, ARVC’s vice president of membership and marketing. We are always striving to help our members solve challenges so they can be more successful, and the ARVC Career Center was created to do just that.”

The industry’s first portal of job openings will also allow campgrounds to expand their search nationwide providing more options than ever before.

Our members are always interested in finding qualified employees and the ARVC Career Center will be a tremendous asset to help them in that process,” says Paul Bambei, ARVC President and CEO. “Being able to expand searches across the country will help make the talent pool deeper and allow our members to attract talented and effective employees.”

Access to posting jobs is not limited to just campgrounds, Basler says. The ARVC Career Center will also be a valuable tool for ARVC’s Supplier Council members looking to expand their talent pool, as well as Associate members looking to build their staff prior to opening their park.
