Folks in the outdoor hospitality have a diverse set of experiences, so it’s almost impossible to find a challenge another attendee at ARVC’s Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) hasn’t already seen and solved.
Tapping into this knowledge base and helpful nature, the Cracker Barrels at OHCE are full of peer-to-peer guidance and advice, bringing like-minded community members together to share ideas and solutions to common challenges in the industry. Each session is hosted by industry-professional moderators who lead the discussion and provide topic ideas, but it is the attendees and their unique experiences who are the star of the show.

(DENVER) Folks in the outdoor hospitality have a diverse set of experiences, so it’s almost impossible to find a challenge another attendee at ARVC’s Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) hasn’t already seen and solved.

Two new Cracker Barrel sessions highlight this year’s lineup—a joint Owner-Operator/Park Manager session and a Legal, Human Resources and Finance session. Three other Cracker Barrel categories, each lasting 1.5 hours, will provide learners an opportunity to find the area that best fits their needs.

The new Owner-Operator and Park Manager sessions will spend the first part of the Cracker Barrel separate, before combining for the second portion. This will allow for more specialized discussion initially, before the two groups come together to offer differing perspectives on the challenges of running a park.

The Legal, Human Resources and Finance session will fill a needed slot, as park leadership is seeing a larger percentage of their bandwidth dedicated to these topics.

>p>Other popular topics returning this year as Cracker Barrel discussions are: Working with Local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and Park Build and Expansion.

OHCE is a four-day event from Nov. 4-7 in Knoxville, Tenn. including more than 40 educational seminars, a trade show with more than 120 vendors, tours of local campgrounds, a CPR/disaster preparedness class and ARVC’s Awards of Excellence program.
