ABOUT THE ARVC COMBINED MUSIC LICENSE PROGRAM
ARVC member-parks are turning music into money at their parks—with karaoke contests and pool parties that drive engagement with campers who purchase tickets to participate. But did you know if you play music at your park, you must have a license to avoid copyright law infringement?
This annual license combines the benefit of coverage for both ASCAP and BMI at a drastically reduced rate. To complete your coverage, you can also sign up for a discounted SESAC license.

REMINDER: Open enrollment for 2023 discounted music licensing will be announced soon. If a park plays copyrighted music at their park without a license from ASCAP, BMI or SESAC, they could be liable for damages set by federal statute that can range from $750 to $30,000. In addition, if a jury finds that the infringement was ‘willful,’ the damages assessed could run as high as $150,000 per song plug legal costs.

Month of operation equals each calendar month for which the park is operational more than seven (7) days.

POLICY: *Pricing subject to change based on contractual requirements with the PROs (Performing Rights Organizations). Refunds are not given after purchase outside of open enrollment period. **To qualify for ARVC’s discounted rates, parks must enroll in the ARVC Music License program and hold a license each year. Parks must also be in good standing with both ARVC (and state association, if applicable) and the licensing PRO throughout the tenure of the licensing period. Failure of such good standing will result in a revoked license and no refund, lapsed licenses must be paid in full prior to purchase of new license.
